AJ Matthews, Farmingdale
2012 All Met Player of the Year; 2013 NABC Atlantic District player of the year; 2012-13 All Skyline Conference first team. Led Rams and Skyline with 22.6 ppg (No. 9 in NCAA), 14.7 rpg (No. 1 in NCAA), 2.88 bpg (No. 7 in NCAA), 20 double-doubles (No. 1 in NCAA).
2013 MBWA MEN'S DIVISION III COACH OF THE YEAR

In a rebuilding season where the Gothic Knights lost all five starters from 2011-12, NJCU stunningly rebounded from a 2-7 start and a struggling 4-9 record (0-7 NJAC) as of Jan. 5. NJCU pulled off a streak of 10 wins in 12 games and claimed seven consecutive victories to conclude the regular season with a record of 14-11 overall and 9-9 in the league before losing by four points in the NJAC quarterfinals. Also named NJAC Coach of the Year.
