2013 MBWA MEN'S DIVISION II CO-PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Tobin Carberry, LIU Post
East Coast Conference Player of the Year. Led the ECC with 18.6 ppg, along with total points, field goals and 3-pt goals. Had 5.8 rpg. Put up double digits in every game he played this season, and 20+ points 14 times. Shot .457 from the field, .399 beyond the arc. Ranks in the top 10 on the Pioneers’ all time scoring list (1,244 points); shot.459 for his career. Named to NABC Coaches All East Second Team.
2013 MBWA MEN'S DIVISION II CO-PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Leon Porter, Dominican
First Team All-CACC selection. Ranked 11th in conference in ppg (15.5) and fifth in free throw percentage (.836). Had 122 assists (4.2 apg), 1.3 steals. Scored 449 points this season and finished third on Chargers all-time scoring list with 1,757 points. Named to NABC Coaches All East Second Team.
2013 MBWA MEN'S DIVISION II COACH OF THE YEAR
Joe Clinton, Dominican
Named CACC coach of the year. Guided Chargers to 22-7 overall (15-3 conference) record, winning the CACC North Division regular season title. Lost in CACC tournament but received at-large berth in NCAA men’s Div II tournament. Bowed out of NCAAs in first round, falling short to New Haven. Previously named MBWA coach of the year in 1996.
