Page (Columbia) Picked for Women's Div. I Player of the Week

NEW YORK (Dec. 16, 2025) --- Perri Page of Columbia University has been named Division I Women’s Player of the Week by the Met Basketball Writers Association.

The designation, for games played Dec. 8-14, is unique in that it encompasses players from 21 Met area Division I schools.

This is Page's first career MBWA player of the week honor.

A 5-11 senior guard from Pittsburgh, PA, Page led the Lions (7-4) in their only game of the week to a last-second 54-53 victory at Seton Hall by recording a double-double with a team-high 15 points and a game-high 10 rebounds along with four steals, two assists and the game-winning basket. She connected on 7-of-14 shots from the field in the contest.

Early on, Page tallied nine first-quarter points to help Columbia end the period on a 10-0 run after trailing by 11 points as Seton Hall held a 17-16 edge. Then, late in the game, she canned the game-winning basket with just 0.7 seconds left to lift the Lions to a 54-53 victory.

Page ranks No. 6 in the Ivy League in scoring (13.5 ppg), No. 7 in rebounding (6.7 rpg), No. 2 in field goal percentage (54.5%) and No. 2 in steals (2.5). She is one of three players in NCAA Division I averaging at least 13.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and shooting 50% or better from the field. The other two are All-Americans Sarah Strong (UConn) and Madison Booker (Texas).

Players receiving MBWA Division I Honorable Mention for the week: Diaka Berete, Stony Brook; Reese Ericson, Army West Point; Kylie Lavelle, St. John’s; Ava Renninger, FDU; Lexie Tarul, Marist.
