Felician's Anderson Nets Men's Divs. II/III Top Weekly Player to Tip-Off New Season

NEW YORK (Dec. 9, 2025) ---  Jeremiah Anderson of Felician University has been named Divs. II/III Men’s Player of the Week by the Met Basketball Writers Association.
 
The designation, for games played Dec. 1-7, is unique in that it encompasses players from 49 Met area schools across Divisions II and III.

This marks Anderson's first MBWA player of the week honor.

A 6-1 junior guard from Brooklyn, NY, Anderson --- who also was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference player of the week --- averaged 29.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.0 steals during a 2-0 week for the Golden Falcons (6-1) while shooting 66.7% from the floor.
 
Anderson tipped off his week by erupting for 38 points along with 10 rebounds and three steals at home on Wednesday in an 84-70 victory over Caldwell.
 
He had an all-around 21 points, five rebounds, five assists, two blocks and three steals on the road Saturday when Felician edged Wilmington (DE) 77-76.
