NEW YORK (Jan. 13, 2026) ---
Patrick Burke of Adelphi University has been named Divs. II/III Men’s Player of the Week by the Met Basketball Writers Association.
The designation, for games played Jan. 5-11, is unique in that it encompasses players from 49 Met area schools across Divisions II and III.
This marks the first career MBWA Player of the Week nod for Burke.

He scored 17 points with 13 rebounds, shooting 8-of-16 from the floor, in Wednesday’s 77-67 loss at Assumption.
Burke recorded 17 points again, this time with a career-high 15 rebounds and nailing 6-of-10 field goals, as Adelphi clipped host Saint Michael’s 77-75 on Saturday.
